SHIPPING POLICY
Last Updated: July 22, 2026
At The Mom Box, we aim to make your subscription experience enjoyable, reliable, and as stress-free as possible. To help you understand how we process, ship, and deliver our subscription boxes and other products, we have outlined our Shipping Policy below.
Please read this Shipping Policy carefully along with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund and Return Policy, and any information displayed during checkout.
By placing an order, purchasing a product, or subscribing to The Mom Box, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to this Shipping Policy.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits any right or remedy available to you under applicable Canadian federal, provincial, or territorial consumer protection legislation.
1. Order Processing
All new subscriptions are billed immediately when the subscription is purchased, unless a different billing arrangement is clearly disclosed during checkout.
After payment has been successfully processed, the subscription will be placed into the next available order-processing and shipping cycle.
Orders are generally processed during regular business days, excluding weekends and statutory holidays.
Orders placed on a weekend or statutory holiday will normally begin processing on the next business day.
Processing time may vary depending on:
Order processing refers to the time required to verify, prepare, package, and transfer an order to the applicable shipping carrier. Processing time is separate from the carrierβs estimated transit time.
Once an order has entered the packing, fulfilment, or shipping process, we may be unable to:
Customers are responsible for reviewing their order, billing details, and shipping address before completing checkout.
Monthly Subscription Processing
Monthly subscription boxes are prepared according to The Mom Boxβs recurring shipping schedule.
Customers who subscribe after the applicable monthly cut-off date may be placed into the following monthβs shipping cycle.
The applicable cut-off date, expected shipping period, and any special processing details may be displayed on the Site, during checkout, in the customer account, or through email.
2. Estimated Shipping and Delivery Times
The Mom Box aims to ship monthly subscription boxes by approximately the middle of each month, unless another shipping period is communicated to subscribers.
Shipping and delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on:
The estimated delivery period begins after an order has been processed and transferred to the shipping carrier.
An estimated shipping or delivery date is not a guaranteed arrival date.
The Mom Box is not responsible for delays caused solely by an independent shipping carrier or circumstances outside our reasonable control. However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist customers with delayed shipments where tracking information or a carrier investigation is available.
Customers should allow additional delivery time during:
Where a delay materially affects an order, we may provide an update by email, through the Site, or through the customerβs account.
3. Customs, Duties and Taxes
Canadian Customers
Unless otherwise stated, orders shipped within Canada are processed from a Canadian location.
The total amount charged to Canadian customers may include:
Applicable taxes are generally calculated based on the shipping destination and the tax requirements in effect at the time of purchase.
Canadian customers will not normally be responsible for customs duties on orders shipped from within Canada.
If a product is shipped directly from an international supplier, any different tax, customs, or import arrangement will be clearly disclosed where reasonably possible before the order is completed.
International Customers
The Mom Box may offer international shipping to selected countries or regions.
International orders may be subject to:
Unless expressly stated during checkout, these charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping charge and are the responsibility of the recipient.
The Mom Box does not determine, collect, control, or guarantee the amount of international customs charges.
International customers are responsible for:
Customs authorities may open, inspect, delay, refuse, or seize an international shipment in accordance with local law.
The Mom Box is not responsible for customs delays or for products refused or confiscated because of the destination countryβs laws, restrictions, or import requirements, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
If an international shipment is refused, abandoned, or returned because the recipient does not pay applicable fees or comply with customs requirements, any refund will be assessed after deducting non-refundable shipping costs, return charges, customs charges, and other expenses incurred by The Mom Box, to the extent permitted by law.
By placing an international order, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.
4. Shipping Carriers and Tracking
Orders are shipped through independent third-party carriers selected by The Mom Box or its fulfilment providers.
The carrier used may vary depending on:
Once your order has shipped, you may receive:
Tracking information may not update immediately after a shipping label has been created. It may take additional time for the carrier to scan and process the package.
Some shipping methods, destinations, or small parcel services may not include full tracking.
The Mom Box does not control the carrierβs tracking system and cannot guarantee that every tracking update will be accurate, complete, or available in real time.
Delivery Confirmation
A package may be marked as delivered when it has been:
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their shipping location is safe and accessible for delivery.
Risk of Loss
Responsibility for an order will not transfer in a manner that removes or limits any non-waivable consumer rights.
Where permitted by applicable law, risk associated with theft, loss, or damage occurring after confirmed delivery may become the customerβs responsibility.
The Mom Box may assist with a carrier investigation but cannot guarantee a refund or replacement for a package that the carrier confirms was successfully delivered to the correct address.
5. Incorrect, Incomplete or Changed Addresses
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping information is accurate, complete, and current.
This includes:
The Mom Box is not responsible for delivery delays, returned shipments, or lost packages caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or improperly formatted shipping information supplied by the customer.
Subscription Address Changes
Subscribers must update their shipping address before the applicable monthly processing or shipping cut-off date.
Updating an address in a customer account after a box has entered processing may not update the address attached to that shipment.
Customers should contact themomboxfit@gmail.com as soon as possible after discovering an address error. We will make reasonable efforts to assist, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after processing has begun.
Returned Shipments
If a package is returned to The Mom Box because of:
we may contact the customer to arrange reshipment.
The customer may be responsible for reasonable reshipping, return, handling, or carrier charges.
If the customer does not respond within a reasonable period, the order may be treated as undeliverable.
Any refund or credit will be assessed after deducting non-refundable shipping, return, handling, or product costs, to the extent permitted by law.
If the delivery issue resulted from an error made by The Mom Box, we will correct the error without charging the customer additional shipping costs.
6. Missing, Damaged or Lost Shipments
Missing, damaged, incomplete, or lost shipments should be reported to The Mom Box as soon as reasonably possible and no later than 30 days after the shipping date, unless a longer reporting period is required by applicable law.
Reports should be sent to themomboxfit@gmail.com and should include:
Damaged Products
Claims concerning a damaged product must include clear photographs showing:
Customers should not dispose of the product or packaging until The Mom Box has reviewed the claim or confirmed that disposal is permitted.
Exterior Packaging Damage
Minor cosmetic damage to the exterior shipping box or retail packaging does not necessarily mean that the product itself is damaged.
Minor issues such as:
will not normally qualify for a replacement or refund when the product remains safe, complete, sealed where applicable, functional, and suitable for use.
This limitation does not apply where packaging damage has caused contamination, leakage, breakage, loss of product, a broken safety seal, or another issue that makes the product unsafe or unusable.
Missing Items
If an item is missing from a shipment, customers should provide a description of the missing item and photographs of the products and packaging received.
We may review fulfilment records, package weights, supplier information, and other available records when investigating the claim.
Lost or Delayed Shipments
A package will not necessarily be considered lost merely because its tracking information has not recently updated.
Before reporting a package as lost, customers should:
Where appropriate, The Mom Box may open an investigation with the carrier.
Customers may be required to cooperate with the investigation or provide a written confirmation that the package was not received.
Replacements, Credits and Refunds
If a product or shipment is confirmed to be missing, materially damaged, defective, or lost, The Mom Box may offer:
Where an identical replacement is available, The Mom Box may offer a replacement rather than a refund, subject to applicable consumer rights.
Replacement products are subject to availability.
Refunds, credits, and replacements will be assessed according to:
The Mom Box reserves the right to deny fraudulent, misleading, duplicate, unsupported, or abusive claims.
Nothing in this section limits a refund, replacement, cancellation, or other remedy required under applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation.
7. Shipping Restrictions
The Mom Box reserves the right to refuse, limit, hold, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary.
Reasons may include:
Certain products may be restricted from air transport, international shipping, remote delivery, or shipment to specific provinces, territories, countries, or regions.
We may remove a restricted product, substitute an appropriate item, cancel the affected portion of an order, or cancel the entire order.
If The Mom Box cancels an order after payment has been processed, we will provide an appropriate refund for the cancelled portion using the original payment method, unless another remedy is agreed upon or permitted by law.
The Mom Box does not guarantee delivery to:
Availability will be determined during checkout or after the order has been reviewed.
